Eric Jackson, lovingly known as E-Man and Slim, passed away on July 6, 2024, in his hometown of Rochester, NY, at the age of 55. Born on January 26, 1969, in Rochester, Eric was the son of the late John and Mary Jackson.

Eric was a dedicated high school teacher, impacting the lives of countless students during his career. He believed in treating others the way he wanted to be treated and lived by this motto every day.

When he wasn't in the classroom, Eric enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandkids and indulging in his grandma's famous smothered pork chops. He loved hosting Sunday BBQs after church and cherished those moments with his family.

Eric had a passion for music, particularly Michael Jackson's iconic tunes. He also found joy in watching his favorite TV show, The Bernie Mac Show, and was an avid football fan.

One of Eric's favorite places in the world was relaxing on the beach, where he found solace and tranquility. His outgoing and brave nature made him a person who always put his mind towards making a positive impact.

Eric is survived by his loving spouse, Tracie Jackson, and their children Brenda Jackson, Yaziir Jackson, and Eric Jackson Jr. He will be deeply missed by his twin sister, Erica Henderson, and many other relatives and friends.
