It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eric Billups, a beloved son, student, family member, and friend, who departed this life at the young age of 16.
Eric was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, where he was known for his kind heart, quiet strength, and bright spirit. He attended Hyde Park Academy High School on the South Side of Chicago, where he was loved by classmates and teachers alike. Eric had a presence that brought comfort to those around him, and his smile could light up any room.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted mother, Cherelle Billups; his loving father, Levell Squires; along with many family members, friends, classmates, and all whose lives were touched by him.
Though Eric’s life was brief, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
