Enlisted as a cook in the Navy and was in the Marine corp. He was a proud veteran.
Eric Arnold Kidder, born on October 4,1951, in Calais, Maine, passed away on September 20, 2024, in Machias, Maine. He is remembered as a devoted family man, loving husband, and proud veteran who served in both the Navy and the Marine Corps.
Eric enjoyed a variety of hobbies, most notably fishing with his best friend, Bill, and spending cherished moments with his grandson, Jay Moholland Jr. His passion for music was evident as he loved playing his guitar for family and friends, and he frequently filled the air with his song while attending church with his beloved wife, Kandee.
In his younger years, Eric spent countless summers at the family camp on Pleasant Lake, a place that held a special spot in his heart. In retirement, he found joy in selling collectibles at the Dike in Machias, where he connected with many members of his community.
A fan of television, Eric enjoyed watching "Bonanza" and other Western series. He had a deep faith as a Baptist and was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.
Eric is survived by his loving wife, Kandee, and many family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
