Man of few words. Quiet but kind and comforting.
His home and the five acres in Karnack.
Every year betting against Kevin and their pre- agreed upon football teams.
Connie, his dog of the last ten or more years. Definitely a dog lover, always had at least one.
Eric Arlis Anderson, born on December 25, 1981, in Shreveport, LA, passed away on July 28, 2024, in Karnack, TX. He was a man of few words but possessed a quiet and comforting kindness that touched the lives of those around him.
Eric worked as a machine operator and electrical technician, where he was known as the dependable "Go-To" man at work. His professional achievements were well-respected by his colleagues.
Outside of work, Eric found solace and joy in his home and the five acres of land in Karnack. He cherished the peacefulness of this place, making it his favorite spot in the world. Eric was a lover of sports and every year, he enjoyed betting against his twin brother, Kevin, on their pre-agreed upon football teams.
Animals held a special place in Eric's heart, and he was a dedicated dog lover. His loyal companion, Connie, had been by his side for the last ten years or more.
Eric will be remembered as a devoted brother and a loving uncle. Survived by his twin brother, Kevin Richard Anderson, and younger brother, Titus Tress, his presence in their lives will be deeply missed. Eric enjoyed sharing stories, playing games, and watching Lucy and Jonathan explore and learn on the 5 acres of land. He was always there to lend a shoulder or ear for Kevin and the kids. Opening his home for the much needed break from the city they so needed. Allowing Jonathan to learn and practice shooting whichever weapon they decided to bring that weekend.
Those who knew Eric will remember him as a quiet soul, patient and kind. He had a knack for blushing at the slightest "Hi" and had a calming presence that made him a peacemaker among friends and family.
In his passing, Eric leaves behind cherished memories and the impact he made in the lives of others. May he rest in peace knowing he brought comfort and joy to those who knew him.
