Mrs. Emma Rosie Floyd, was born December 17,1922 in Columbus, Ga. The daughter of the late Ben and Leola Smith. She accepted Christ at an early age. She joined Friendship Baptist Church in Hamilton, Ga. She departed this life Saturday, May 11,2024 at The Landings Assisted Living . She was preceded in death by her spouse Bill Floyd and her daughter Lillie B. Floyd
She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, Billy Joe Floyd of Waverly Hall, Ga and Allen Floyd (Diane) of Hamilton, Ga. One Grandson William Copeland of Hamilton,Ga. Two granddaughters QuaShonta Williams (Fredrick) of Phenix City, AL and Adaysha Spinkston ( Jeremy) of Hamilton, GA. Three great grandchildren Marcus Hinton, Fredrick McCormick III and Amayah McCormick and one niece Sandra Johnson of Columbus, Ga.
She also leave behind other family members and friends.
