Going fishing on Mother’s Day weekend with her family. She loves going out to eat on birthdays and family gathering. She loves going out shopping.. she love hanging around all her grandchildren and her great grandchildren and her great great grandchildren.
Hanging out with her family. And going to her class reunions..
Her favorite place to visit was Three Rivers so she could throw her fish line out in the water. She loved going to church in Elgin, Texas..
She loved all the cowboy movies. M*A*S*H Barnaby Jones Little House on the Prairie Wheel of Fortune Pressure luck and many more TV programs.
She love football . She loved watching her Cowboys do they thing .
The Tyler Perry movies.
She was a certified medication aide. She also was a certified nursing assistant. She was a beautician.. She worked at Travis for 10 1/2 years before she got hurt.. She worked at Rebecca Baines, and also she worked for Gerlings healthcare, Elgin golden years. She worked at AUSTIN State school..
Emma was a superwoman that took care of her children. She is a mother of seven children . She has five children that she gave birth to, and she has numerous of children that she didn’t give birth to, but took them under her wing as her child.
Her proudest moments was taken care of her children and taking care of her mother and her big sister. One of her most memorable accomplish was when she promised her sister that her child would become hers..
Mother had many pets in her lifetime, but her favorite pet was Taz.
Emma leaves five children to cherish her memory. Danny Ray Benford., Arthur Lee Benford, Jr, Margaret Bernice, Meshawn Benford, Washington, Brian Keith Benford, Sharon Patricia Ann Majors. 34 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren 3 great great grandchildren. Emma leaves two best friends that was dear to her heart Gwen and Hani. Emma has waiting on the other side for her her father James, Willie Hughes.. her mother Margaret, Lydia Lewis Hughes. Her husband, Arthur Lee Benford Sr. Her two infant brothers.. two sisters, May, Pearl, Harrell, Bobbie Jean Majors. One Brother, Johnny B Hughes.. Two daughter in law’s Veronica Wade Benford and Jacqueline Deary. One son-in-law Jerryon Travis, Washington . Two infant granddaughters.She has numerous of aunts,uncles ,cousins that is on the other side that embrace her coming home. Emma had one son by her high school, sweetheart.Emma Benford was married to Arthur Lee Benford Sr and to that union five children. Emma had a heart of goodness because she loved taking care of the elderly.. She helped her sister Bobbie in her daycare taking care of children .So she loved both Elderly and children. Emma sat a spiritual background for her children and grandchildren.. She loved dancing around with her children and her grandchildren at Family, functions. Emma was in WMS and also serve as an usher at her church. Emma served faithfully at greater mount Zion AME Church until her health started declining her. Emma enjoy going to bingo until her health wouldn’t allow her to go anymore..
