Emma Dixon, a beloved mother and cherished family member, passed away on February 23, 2024, in Muskegon, MI, her place of birth. She was 55 years old.
Emma was a devoted mother to her nine beautiful children: Latoya Cosse, Terrio Cosse, Willie Shields, Cortez Shields, Precious Dixon, Bessie McBride, Ashley McBride, Jasmine Harvey, and Isaiah Harvey. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and other family members.
In addition to her love for her family, Emma had a passion for food. She enjoyed indulging in fish, spaghetti, and various soul food dishes, including cabbage, greens, cornbread, and fried chicken.
Music held a special place in Emma's heart, with a particular fondness for the Temptations, Luther Vandross, Gerard LeVert, and gospel music.
Emma was known for her kind-hearted nature and willingness to help anyone in need. She had an unwavering love for her family and a deep faith in God. Emma would want those who knew her to remember her with joy and happiness, as she believed she was now in a better place.
Emma Dixon will be dearly missed by her children, extended family, and friends. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
