Born August 26, 2002 in Lufkin Tx in the Woodland Heights hospital at approximately 9:28 pm to birth name Elvis Michael Hooper Jr. The 20 year old boy we all knew and loved had lived a life he would particularly claim to not care about. It wasn't until his first son was born. He had undergone many difficult situations and many roadblocks to then realize that the world we live in can be cruel and surely unfair. He lived a short lifespan of 20 years, 4 months and 7 days. Whenever his second born son arrived into the world he could not control his emotions. He made a vow to protect the stranger that was once apart of himself. On December 29, 2021 Damien James Hooper entered into Elvis' life as his first born to take on his name. He showed him unconditional love and Damien allowed him to open his eyes upon entering adulthood. Elvis' occupation he had worked was an apprentice plumber. He loved going to work to be able to provide for his family and make sure they were taken care of. He was a caring man, a hard worker and a protective father. He was pronounced dead at 8:00 pm at the Woodland Heights Hospital where he was rushed to after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to the neck and upper torso. His body was sent off into autopsy at 8:30 pm January 2, 2023. Keep his loved ones in mind as they push through the burial ceremony of a brother, son and a father.
