Supported causes such as the World Wildlife Fund, Native American causes, Women's Rights groups
Had a special love for dogs, especially her last dog Crumpet
Was a true creative seen through her quilting, craft projects, and uncanny ability to reawaken discarded goods
Hardly used a cell phone, had an old school answering machine, used a computer to sparingly send email
Preceded in death by her parents and younger brother, survived by her brothers, son, daughter, and grandchildren
Described as whip-smart, intellectually curious, caring for people less fortunate, and a true artist
