Elizabeth “Lisa” Nelson, age 67, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Lisa attended tallulah schools through the 11th grade and was in the first coed graduating class at Marion Military Institute in 1971, while also attending Judson College. She later attended the University of Alabama
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and aunt, and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Anne Stewart, and her son, Benjamin Nelson . She is survived by her 10 children and 25 grandchildren, along with her 10 great grandchildren
A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
