Elizabeth Ellen Basham Deer of Saint Albans was born August 2, in 1975 just turning 50 just a few weeks before having her life ending Hemorrhagic stroke at her step father-in-laws house on Browns Creek in the early morning of August 23 2025 awakened by And, witnessing this terrible tragedy taking place her life partner of 35 years calls 911 while trying to help her at the same time she was rushed to Charleston General by ambulance where the medical staff on duty at this time performed their duties at no prevail so she was put on life-support a short time after that the family was gathered and notified that there was nothing they could do for her, and the family should say their goodbyes she lived through the night then crossing over to the other side in the early evening of the next day. Taking a little piece of each family members 5heart with her and a chunk bigger than all of theirs, put together out of mine……. Elizabeth went to go find her father Thomas Preston Basham and leaving her mother Margie Ellen Basham of hurricanehere with her little sister Marti ann Smith, her husband, Sam Smith, their son Sammy Smith, the third her niece, Emma Smith all from Saint Albans .she left her life partner of 35 years, Richard, David Deer lives in Saint Albans her oldest son, Brent, David Thomas Deer age 31 from hurricalbens. youngest son, Branden Lake Deer 28 from hurricane and, the two people that she loved and adored more than one or anything, her precious grandbabies, Brents daughter, Addison, Kinley, Deer, age 12 branden son John Deer age 9.. her mother-in-law Ruby June Creech, her father in law Terry Brooks Creech a.k.a. Pops her sister-in-law, tammy Sue arnold brother-in-law, Chuck arnold their daughter Terry Brooks Jones in which her aunt bee a.k.a. Elizabeth cut her umbilical cord when she was born . also leaving behind tammy and Chuckz son-in-law Brooks husband Dylan Jones. Who can’t beat his uncle Richard at anything!!! she has three surviving aunts from her mother side .. Ann Fowler.. Linda Jones.. and Joyce Dunlap.. And two Aunt from her father‘s side.. Cecelia Lawrence… And Linda Basham and way too many cousins from both sides to mention and a whole Facebook site full of friends that loved her too.. i’m sure that she’s done found her daddy. By now I’d say pops and Stato already had him waiting for her.. they say …(TIME)…heals all wounds … she’s up there, smiling looking down with that big chunk in her hand knowing I’m coming to take it back in…(TIME)…. We all love And. Miss you Beth even Jake!!!
