Elizabeth Christine Saavedra, affectionately known as Liz or Lizzy, was born on October 16, 1958, in Gracemont, Oklahoma. She passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, where she spent her final years surrounded by loved ones.

Elizabeth dedicated her career as a kitchen supervisor at county jails, where she was known for her strong work ethic and her ability to connect with those around her. Outside of work, she cherished her time spent at family sporting events especially sitting on the sidelines when possible, cooking for her family, and enjoying fishing with loved ones.

Above all, Elizabeth found her greatest joy in her grandchildren and nieces and nephews, whom she adored and loved spending time with.

In addition to her children, Christie, Lisa and Chad, Elizabeth is survived by her brother, James, and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly. She had a particular fondness for watching Lifetime and Hallmark movies, often finding comfort in their heartwarming stories.

Elizabeth's spirit and love for her family will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.
