Graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Richmond, VA in 1957 and from Mary Baldwin College (now Mary Baldwin University) in Staunton, VA in 1961 with a BA in history
Worked as a course assistant, researcher, and technical editor for 20 years for the Darden School of Business Administration at UVA and as an editor for 25 years for CFA Institute; in her last years she was the in-house editor of the Financial Analysts Journal
Acted in and directed numerous plays for community theaters in Richmond, Oak Grove Theatre, Theater Wagon, ShenanArts, and Charlottesville's ACT I
Long-time member of Church of Our Savior, Episcopal, where she played hand bells, served as an acolyte, Lay Eucharistic Minister, Lay Eucharistic Visitor, and lector. She also served on various commissions and as chair of the Adult Spiritual Formation Commission
Survived by her daughter Rosalind Campbell Collins and husband Jeff Moore, son Edgar Brandon Collins, grandchildren Julia Beall, Ava Elizabeth Collins, Oliver Debs Collins-Greenfield, Hazel Jane Greenfield-Collins, and Alexandria Gonzalez, great-grandsons Tristen, Cooper, Maddux, and Theodore, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, ex-husband, friends, and the Collins Clan and Theater Wagon Tribe
Encouraged donations to the Hallock Endowment Fund at Church of Our Saviour, the Corolla Wild Horse Fund, or the Oak Grove Theater
