Elizabeth Baird, lovingly known as Betty, passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born on February 12, 1938, in Albion, NY, and had been residing in Webster, NY. Betty was a registered nurse by profession and dedicated her life to caring for others.
Throughout her life, Betty had a passion for various hobbies, including singing, dancing, writing, walking, cooking, and shopping. As a young girl, she discovered her talent for writing and spent her time creating plays, stories, and poems, both for children and adults. She even authored a book, showcasing her creative spirit.
Betty's love for her family knew no bounds. She was an amazing, self-sacrificing mother who always put her loved ones first. Her proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, including her daughter Victoria Snowden, and her grandchildren Thomas Sugden, Shane Sugden, Thomas Snowden, Julia Sugden, and Robert Snowden.
Known for her bubbly and positive personality, Betty had a kind and caring demeanor that touched the lives of everyone she met. She was always there to lend a helping hand and offered kindness to all. Her impact on the lives of others was immeasurable, and she will be deeply missed.
Betty was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, where she found solace and strength in her faith. Her spirituality was an integral part of her life, guiding her through both joyous and challenging times.
Elizabeth Baird will be remembered as a remarkable woman who cherished her family, pursued her passions, and brought light to those around her. Her legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to a charity of your choice, as Betty always believed in giving to those in need.
