Watching movies playing with her toys playing with her animals going to theme parks riding roller coasters listening to music hanging out with her friends and being a homebody with her mom
Chicken and rice, shrimp, steak, pasta, fish, she loved all vegetables, fruit, she did love chips but I tried to only give her the baked ones. She loves chocolate but only got it in limited amounts same with ice cream. She was willing to try any food and if she didn't like it she would let you know.
She loved Taylor Swift she loved Lady Gaga she loved Little Big Town she loved Queen she loved dance music. She was very eclectic. Anything you could dance to or she thought was beautiful she loved it.
She was left handed like her mom and two of her aunts. She was a Pisces like two of her aunts. She was mostly Hispanic. She had dark hair and light eyes. She also had an excellent photographic spatial memory. Mostly because she was OCD like her mom.
Helping other people playing with her toys and animals and watching her favorite movies and hanging out with her mom.
Being at home or at Chuck E cheese LOL
Paw Patrol and SpongeBob SquarePants
Swimming running and anything to do with climbing
Her superpower was her extra chromosome. She loved everyone but at the same time she like to size people up first yet she had no prejudice against anyone. She was also as we liked to call her a Sour Patch Kid. First she was Sour than she was sweet. For those who met her and spent time with her they all have a story to tell an Elinisim... she would come up with the funniest sayings and had wonderful confidence in herself. She definitely knew what she wanted and when she wanted it. She was very large and in charge. When she accomplished any new task she was very proud of herself. I will miss hearing her say "look Mom I did it!" That was one of the best things she ever said and it will be hard not to hear that again. She also like to stick up for the underdog. Even though she herself could be feisty she did not like to see other people being bullied or her classmates being reprimanded. She would always try to Mother everyone. She liked to take care of people. She had a big heart. Unfortunately it was too big and we just didn't know it. 😕
Her pets were Gizmo a beautiful black female cat who she inherited from her uncle when he passed away. She loved her Gizmo. And our foster dog Tequila who she also loved dearly. She would help me with feeding them and giving them water and also would walk Tequila outside while I sat on the porch. She was very proud of herself for doing that.
Elina had a light inside her that drew people in. She understood people and knew what to do to make them happy. Rather it was to give them comfort or make them laugh or just be affectionate and give them a hug or just act silly she knew what people needed to feel better and that was her gift. She made people better for knowing her. There's not enough people in this world you can say that about. So when you lose one especially at such a young age it is heartbreaking but I feel lucky to have been her mother and lucky enough to have had her at least 18 years. But I am no fool to know that I will never have anyone like her in my life again. That is the tragedy for me.
