It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Elbert Ray Daniels, who left us peacefully on November 18, 2024, in Los Angeles, California. Elbert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him.
Born on March 10, 1960, in Austin, Texas, Elbert spent much of his life devoted to family, community, and service. He was a man of integrity, a tireless worker, and a compassionate soul. Elbert served in the United States military for over eight years, where his contributions and leadership were deeply appreciated.
Before retiring, Elbert worked for over 40 years in the automotive industry, building a reputation as a skilled craftsman and mentor to his colleagues. His hands-on approach to life was matched only by his infectious sense of humor and his ability to always put others before himself.
Elbert’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Easta Daniels, his cherished son, Leonard Stewart, and his devoted brother, Charles Daniels. Elbert's legacy of kindness, hard work, and love for family will live on forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A celebration of Elbert’s life will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Eagle Rock Baptist Church. Elbert will be greatly missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
