Obituary

Eileen Celestine Nevins, affectionately known as Leenie, passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 61. She was born on February 17, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio, and most recently resided in Euclid, Ohio. Eileen was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother whose vibrant personality touched the lives of many.

Eileen had a passion for cooking and could always be found in the kitchen, preparing delicious soul foods for her family and friends. She had a love for music, particularly R&B, and enjoyed line dancing whenever she had the opportunity. But above all else, Eileen cherished spending time with her family. She would go above and beyond for her children and loved ones, always putting their needs before her own.

Professionally, Eileen was an excellent nurse provider, dedicating herself to caring for others. Her nurturing nature, combined with her intelligence and helpfulness, made her a respected and valued member of the healthcare community.

Eileen leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her children William D Nevins, Shanell Lanier, Justin Davis, Kendale Y McQueen, and TaMya Bryson. Eileen was also a proud grandmother to Kentrell, Sha'niah, and Demiere. Additionally, she is survived by her siblings Mecedies, Jehue, and Bill Jr., and her loving parent Mercedes Poellinitz.

Those who had the honor of knowing Eileen will remember her for her warm and humorous spirit. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of her life. May she rest in peace, knowing that her legacy of love and care lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
