Edwin Collazo Rosa, also known as Lefty, passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 68. He was born on January 7, 1956, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and most recently resided in Bridgeport, CT. Edwin was a talented carpenter by profession, leaving behind a legacy of skill and craftsmanship.

Edwin had a deep love for music and enjoyed making music himself. He also had a passion for cooking, delighting those around him with his culinary creations. However, above all else, Edwin cherished his children and grandchildren. They were the light of his life, bringing him immense joy and happiness.

Edwin had a special place in his heart for Puerto Rico, considering it his favorite place in the world. He also had a great fondness for baseball, with the Yankees being his beloved team. His love for the sport was evident, and he followed it with enthusiasm.

Edwin will be remembered for his honesty, kindness, love, generosity, and sense of humor. He had a forgiving nature that touched the lives of many. His Christian faith was an important part of his life.

Edwin is survived by his children: Edwin Collazo, Sylvia Victoria Collazo, Erica Collazo, Maggie Collazo, Alyssa Collazo, Eddie Collazo, Edwin Lefty Collazo, Tanya Angelica Collazo, Mario Lefty Collazo, and Natasha Collazo. He is also survived by his parents, Nery Colon and Miguel Angel Collazo Torres.
