With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Edward Howard, a man of humor and heart, who departed from us on March 30, 2024. Born on April 23, 1983, Edward was a beacon of love and laughter in the lives of those around him.
Edward will be remembered for his goofy demeanor, consistent ability to make others laugh, and his endless capacity for caring. He truly embodied the principle of treating others as you would like to be treated, and this lesson, among many others, is one he fervently passed on.
His legacy is carried forward by his children, Edward and Elijah Norwood of Las Vegas NV, testaments to his character and the embodiment of the kindness he preached and practiced. They, along with Edward's sisters Erika Howard in Las Vegas NV, Jasmine Norwood, of Los Angeles, CA and his brothers Bert Dukes and Jason Hamilton both of Los Angeles, CA, and DeAndre Mitchell of Los Angeles, CA survive him, bound by the love and unity Edward instilled. He was especially close to his nephews Gregory Howard and Donovan Howard in Las Vegas, NV.
Edward was predeceased by his beloved mother, Janet Norwood, and his cherished grandparent, Geneva Norwood. Their legacy of love and strength lives on in Edwards's family.
In respect of Edward's legacy, a fund has been set up for a charity that was near to his heart at "New Hope Foundation International" Instead of flowers, your kind contributions towards this cause will be highly appreciated.
In these moments of loss and sadness, let us remember Edward for the joy he brought into our lives, the wisdom he shared, and the laughter he spread. His spirit will forever live within the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
