He was quite the Photographer. Has the Nickname of "Eagle Eye" due to his impeccable eyesight, which helped him achieve 1st place in many of his ROTC competitions in highschool He also loved watching Formula 1 racing ,
Watching movies, sports,stage plays ,hanging with his son, his dogs and close family and friends and getting with his friend's at church and going to different events.
He was a homebody and love to chill at the house and talk to his friends.

Edward Guidry III passed away on October 8, 2023 in his home. He was survived by his only son Edward Guidry IV and several members of his family to include his siblings, Rosalind, Sherry and Pierre. Edward worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center for 26 years, where he retired in 2007. Edward was an active member of Our Mother of Mercy Church and a friend to many people in the community, who he much found joy and good times with. He will be missed by many and will hold a beautiful light in the heavenly universe as a beacon of hope and love for all. I love you Dad.
