His ability to write was on a whole another level . His athleticism was incredible . He spent an early part of his adulthood in the department of corrections served 6 yrs then nafter hee paid his dues he arrived to be the very best man that he could be developed a really good work ethic and learned the HVAC trade hands on .then went off on his own and continued the HVAC trade as an entrepreneur . He also was the down town main Street christmas lights for the past 5yrs he also said some other amazing holiday displays around Roswell that drew huge crowds to go see the beauty and fascinating sites that he created .

He was a hard working loving father of 1 Eleanore Rose Boyd he was a very humble man very easy going he hard his fair share of hard times . His mother says since he was about 4 he has always had a little personal gray colored thunderstorm over his head that followed him everywhere he went but always just as humble as could be .
Lost is life to a broken heart.
Edward (Eddie) Gene Boyd, born on April 24, 1978, in Roswell, NM, sadly passed away on March 26, 2024. He was a man of many talents and passions. Eddie loved spending time with his girlfriend of 5 years, Amy Baca, and together they enjoyed finding recyclables. He had an insatiable appetite and would eat anything put in front of him. The Beatles were his favorite band, and their music brought him great joy.
Eddie had a knack for writing and possessed remarkable athleticism. Although he faced challenges in his early adulthood and spent six years in the Department of Corrections, he emerged as a dedicated and hardworking individual. Eddie honed his skills and learned the HVAC trade hands-on, eventually becoming an entrepreneur in the field. He also showcased his creativity by designing magnificent holiday displays that captivated the community in Roswell.
Nothing brought Eddie more happiness than gambling and sharing laughter with Amy Baca. His favorite place in the world was the Lincoln National Forest. He enjoyed playing football, basketball, and golf, and cherished being a loving father to his daughter, Eleanore Rose Boyd. Eddie was a humble man, known for his easy-going nature and ability to weather life's storms with grace.
Tragically, Eddie succumbed to a broken heart. He leaves behind his sister, Adrienne Bankston, mother Angela Heldenbrand, grandmother Rose Alice Johnson, aunt Janice Hernandez, and uncle Darrel Johnson. Eddie's memory will forever be cherished by those who loved him and knew him best.
