Edward Allan Budzynski was born on August 19, 1938, in Chicago to Virginia and Edward Budzynski. He spent his early years in Chicago, where he began working at the age of 14, delivering ice to downtown nightclubs and restaurants.
At the age of 20, Edward was drafted into the United States Army, serving as a small arms repairman and armorer for Headquarters Company. After his military service, he embarked on a diverse and adventurous career. Edward worked as a dairy farmer in Wisconsin and later made his mark in Australia, where he culled sheet water crocodiles. His journey then took him to Montana, where he became known as the state's first "poush" cowboy while packing mules. He also spent time in Gunnison, Colorado, where he roped and caged lions.
Edward's adventurous spirit eventually led him to Alaska, where he served as a hunting guide and worked in insurance planning for 16 years. Most recently, he lived in Grand Junction, Colorado, where he continued to embrace life with enthusiasm and resilience.
Edward, affectionately known as Allan, is remembered for his remarkable life journey, filled with unique experiences and a passion for the outdoors. His legacy lives on in the stories he shared and the lives he touched along the way.
