Edna Crockett, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 82. She was born on November 27, 1938, in Georgia and most recently resided in Fort Myers, FL.

Edna was a woman of deep faith and lived by the teachings of the Bible. She had a knack for quoting verses that brought comfort and inspiration to those around her. One of her favorite sayings was "Oh Boy!", which showed her enthusiasm for life.

Family was at the center of Edna's world, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She leaves behind a devoted husband, Thurman Crockett, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and happiness. Edna was a nurturing and caring mother to her children Mary, Tracey, Leasha, Billy, Keith, Corine, Christine, Ann, and Annie. She delighted in being a grandmother to Ta'Navia Grimsley, Da'Nasha Crockett, David Cummings, Shara Thomas, and Jason Taylor.

Edna's warm and giving personality made her a pillar of strength and support within her family. She had a passion for cooking and was known for preparing delicious meals that brought everyone together. Watching her favorite TV show, Matlock, was one of her simple pleasures.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by a large extended family, including siblings, children, and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her love and kindness.

In honor of Edna's life, a private family gathering will be held to celebrate her legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Edna's name.
