Dwayne Haskins was an NFL quarterback whose life was tragically cut short at the age of 24 when he was tragically struck by a car on April 9, 2022. Haskins had currently been a backup QB with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Born in Highland Park, NJ, Haskins grew up a Giants fan before attending Ohio State University, where he became one of just seven NCAA QBs to ever throw 50+ touchdowns in a single season. Drafted in 2019 as a first round pick (#15 overall) by the Washington Football Team, where he started 13 games over two seasons. Haskins most recently played with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021. Haskins is survived by his wife, Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins.
