He graduated early from Purcell HS 1957 moved out to California to live with his Dad after a few months of finding his way he and his friends attended the John Wayne movie The Sands of Iwo Jima which inspired him to join the Marine Corp. While in the Corp he married and started his family which turned out to keep him state side during the Vietnam conflict, in the Corp he learned how to repair electronics such as radio and television devices he was stationed in California for 2 years and then transferred to North Carolina where he finished his tour and was honorably discharged at which time he moved his family back to Okc Oklahoma. His first job back was the radio and television studio WKY as a technical assistant he did actually get on the air once as he read the technical information at the end of the broadcast day but this job was short-lived due to a conflict with Danny Williams a local celebrity and he moved on to General Electric, after a few years and a few more children he decided to attend central state to earn a business degree which would allow him to become a manager for GE during his last year at Csu he was informed that he would have to relocate to the state of New York to be promoted at that time he changed his major to science and barely made it into OU Med. Where the rest of the story was written.
Comununication through his power of focus which was so fine he could read a book while his mother was talking to him and there was a house full of kids committing all types of chaos. he had the unique ability to focus on the individual he was talking to so much that he would pick up their accent and never know it. us kids would get embarrassed until we figured out it was not intentional he just focused with more intensity than every one else, the negative side of this was whatever he gained through focus he gave up in observation which in a way put him in alot of funny situations .
