He was a dedicated member of St. Aidan’s Anglican Church where he could always be counted on to meet the needs of the parish, whether it was serving on the processional team or helping out with the tech team.
To lend a listening ear. He never met a stranger, he always wanted to know peoples story, how they got here, and where they planned to go in life. Every conversation with him made you feel valued, heard , and appreciated.
He loved nothing more than to be with friends and family.
Doug is survived by his parents, Robert and Carol Arteman, and many lifelong friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents Joseph and Gretchen Wahrer and Roy and Vanessa Arteman.
We'll plant real trees for you in Douglas's memory and display your contribution forever.
