Jerry Jeff Walker, John Prine and Tom Russell were favorite troubadours! All were enjoyed in concerts over the last 20 years.
Doug was a gifted athlete, talented artist and man of math and science. His wife, Gina, would often laugh and tell him he was unique because his 'whole brain' worked all the time!
Sharing a beer and telling stories with friends. Over the past few years, he traveled with his buddy Rich Weatherbee to carving classes, learning the craft and laughing all the time.
Anywhere he and his wife could go camping, enjoying the solitude and peace together.

He loved all sports and coached many as during his career in education.
