Dorothy Merrell will be deeply missed by many, her daughters Catherine Davis and Debra Mims, her grandchildren David Nava, Michael Nava Jr. and his wife Jackie Nava, Nicole Wood, Zachary Shuler, and Dylan Shuler, and her great-grandchildren Devonte Davis and Michael Nava lll, two nephews Don Gaddis, Jr., and Kenny Gaddis, one niece Lisa Gaddis, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil Gaddis and Anne Gaddis, her son Tom Brown Jr., her husband Joe Merrell, her brother Don Gaddis Sr., and her grandson Joshua Brown.
She graduated from Bishop Noll, studied and graduated as an LPN at Trenholm TC, went to Cyril Academy, and was a caregiver at St. Stephen Minister.
