Dorothy Brown, lovingly known as Grandma DOT, passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born on April 28, 1942, in Selma, Alabama. Dorothy most recently resided in Jacksonville, FL.

Dorothy found joy and fulfillment in her professions of landscaping and farming. She had a green thumb and took great pride in creating beautiful landscapes. Her dedication and hard work in these fields were admired by all who knew her.

"Walk by faith and not by sight" was a motto that Dorothy lived by. She believed in the power of faith and relied on it to guide her through life's challenges. This inspirational saying served as a reminder to stay strong and steadfast in her beliefs.

Dorothy was blessed with a loving and supportive marriage to her beloved spouse, Parker Brown. Their bond was one of mutual respect and unwavering love. Together, they shared a lifetime of cherished memories.

Family was of utmost importance to Dorothy, and she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her children, Michael and Troy Brown, who were the pride and joy of her life. Dorothy's love and care extended beyond her immediate family, as she also made time for the youth and all who loved her.

Dorothy is survived by her dear Aunt Willa May and Uncle Preston, who shared a special bond with her throughout the years.
