Donovan Barrington Jenkins, born on November 18, 1959, in Jamaica, West Indies, passed away on August 15, 2024, in Brooklyn, NY. Donovan migrated to the United States in 1969, where he attended Jackie Robinson Junior High School and FDR High School, eventually earning a degree from Ithaca College.

As a dedicated realtor, Donovan was known for his professionalism and sharp appearance, always taking pride in being well-groomed and a stylish dresser. He also shared his passion for sports by coaching basketball at Nazareth High School, inspiring countless young athletes.

Donovan's greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. He cherished his children, Brandon, Tatyana, and Cydney, who were his proudest accomplishments. He loved to share meals of curry chicken and rice n peas and enjoyed indulging in his favorite ice cream flavor, rum raisin. Donovan was an avid fan of baseball and basketball and found pleasure in watching sports on television, often reminiscing about watching "Walker, Texas Ranger" with his mother.

Donovan was preceded in death by his parents Vera and Lloyd Jenkins. He is survived by his beloved children, Brandon, Tatyana and Cydney, the love of his life Tracey, his brother Desmond Jenkins, a niece Mya and a many other relatives and friend. Donovan's warm spirit and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
