Donna Marie Brightwell, affectionately known as “Pinky,” was a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted family woman whose presence brought warmth and strength to all who knew her.

For over 30 years, Donna dedicated her life to being a stay-at-home mother, a role she embraced with unwavering love, patience, and commitment. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family and creating a home filled with comfort, laughter, and support.

Donna lived by a simple but powerful motto: “Don’t worry! God’s got ya!” This phrase reflected her deep faith and her ability to bring peace and reassurance to those around her, even during life’s most challenging moments.

Among her proudest accomplishments was being present for one of life’s most sacred moments—the birth of her grandchildren. Donna traveled across five different states to support and assist in the births of all ten of her grandchildren, a testament to her devotion, strength, and unconditional love.

She was the beloved spouse of Lennix Brightwell and a cherished mother to her four children: Tiye Fitzgerald, Tiana Brightwell, Trevor Brightwell, and Taitum Brightwell. Donna also leaves behind a loving brother, Jameson Gipson, along with a legacy of love that lives on through her grandchildren and extended family.

Donna Marie Brightwell will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, her faith, her selflessness, and the deep love she had for her family. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
