Don loved to spend time with his family and watch his granddaughters play basketball and watch his grandson play football. He loved to go to their games and cheer them on.
“So with you, Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.” John 16-22 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13
We all knew Don has the jokester and the story teller but I all I knew him as was dad. He was a wild child from what I was told by my grandparents and him as well. Dad would always come home from work and tell me and brother about when he was younger and how he had gotten into trouble because he was skipping school or playing basketball instead of going to classes. He was an amazing father, brother, grandfather, friend and neighbor to all he came into contact with. He would light up the world with his smile.
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during this hour of bereavement. May God Bless and Keep You!
