Donald Eugene Burwell, beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2024, at the age of 73. He was born on July 1, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a longtime resident of Springfield, Missouri.
Donald was preceded in death by his mother Flaudie Hamilton. Father Steven Burwell. Brother Edward Hamilton.

Donald was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the simple things in life. He had a passion for fishing, solving puzzles, and spending quality time with his cherished family. Mexican cuisine always delighted his taste buds, and he especially loved indulging in his favorite dishes.

One interesting fact about Donald was his deep love for his dog, Sadie. She was not just a pet but a loyal companion who brought him immense happiness throughout the years.

In addition to his beloved wife, Carolyn Burwell, Donald leaves behind his daughters, Cindy Burwell of Cleveland, Ohio, and Wendy Burwell of Springfield, Missouri. He also had a close-knit family, including his brother Robert Burwell (Cathey). sister Sibel Hamilton. and sister Glenda Feldman (Thomas), along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Donald's passion for college football was well-known, and he always enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
