Graduated from St. John's Elementary School in 1950, attended De La Salle Military Academy from 1950-52, graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1954, and earned his associate's degree from Donnelly College in 1956
Served in the United States Navy for two years aboard the USS Kearsarge, CVA-33, as an aerial photographer
Worked at Randazzo and Morrison Photography, Contemporary Illustrators, co-owned Custom Color Corporation, created Don Wolf Photography, Wolf Photography, and New Vision Photography
Received the Master of Photography degree from the Professional Photographers of America in 1984
Raised over two million dollars for St. Teresa's and St. Joseph's Orphanages in Croatia, published "Croatian Love Story" in 2013
Received a lifetime achievement award at Bishop Ward High School in 2010, inducted into the Donnelly College Hall of Fame in 2012
Wife of 40 years, Mary; five children - Marina, Lori, Mike, Chris, and Steve; two "bonus daughters" - Stacey and Debbie; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Leroy Wolf
