Obituary

Don Christopher Hardy
April 7, 1963 - January 23, 2024

Don Christopher Hardy, lovingly known as Chris and nicknamed the Sheet Metal God, passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 60. He was born in Palestine, TX on April 7, 1963, and most recently resided in Montana, KS.

Chris was a skilled HVAC heating and air professional, and his dedication to his work was admired by many. He took great pride in his profession and his ability to create masterpieces with sheet metal.

Outside of work, Chris had a zest for life and enjoyed various passions. He loved riding motorcycles, tending to his garden, and spending time with his friends, engaging in lively conversations. Known for his fun-loving and caring nature, Chris cherished his family above all else.

Nothing brought him more joy than being in the presence of his grandson, Christopher. To know Chris was to understand the depth of his love for his grandson. He held Christopher close to his heart and treasured their time together.

Chris is survived by his father, Don Hardy, and his wife. He is also survived by his brother, Tim Hardy, and his family, and his sister, Donna Ann Hardy, and her family. Additionally, daughters Ashley Hardy, grand children Lawson and Marley Ann, and Kirstie Hornstein, grandson Jesse.
In addition to his immediate family, Chris leaves behind a lasting impact on his extended family. He is also survived by his step-son, Brandon Landers, and his family, as well as his step-daughter, Lara Hubbard, and her son Christopher Hubbard and former wife Brenda Hardy.

Chris will be remembered for his fun-loving spirit and his unwavering dedication to those he loved. He will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In the words of one of his loved ones, "My favorite memory of Chris was the first time he held Christopher for the first time. My first impression wasn't the best of Chris, but after Christopher was born, it was like meeting him all over again."

May Don Christopher Hardy rest in eternal peace, leaving behind cherished memories for his family and friends to hold dear. Memorial service will be held at The Naif Cafe 600 E. Main St. Cushing, Oklahoma 74023 4/8/2024 Sunday @ 2:00p.m.-4:00p.m. food and drinks will be provided
