Don “Pappy” Hudgins, 80, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024 he was born August 28, 1943 in Paulding County, Ga., the Son of the late John Clyde Hudgins and Helen Rosemary Hudgins. He worked as a stock clerk for Sears, Fulton Bag Cotton Mill, after serving in the U.S. Army, Vietnam War. He was Baptist by faith. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shonna Faye and Ricky Haslett, of Villa Rica; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Jennifer Hudgins of Carrollton; grand daughter and son-in-law Tiffany Nicole and Wayne Weaver, of Hiram; Grand son’s Cory Lee, Justin Blake, and Joshua Austin Haslett, all of Rockmart; several nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 12-4 pm from the Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Bremen. In accordance with his wishes, his body will be cremated following the visitation. No services are planned.
