The first 25 years of her career she was a commercial insurance agent. Had specialized in Professional liability and Risk management with several independent insurance agencies she worked at over the years. She worked part-time as the Attendant for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Pocatello Mission Home Attendantuntil 70 years old. Inconjunction with developing and starting the manufacturing of line of dolls named Sweet Grass Dolly. These native american dolls were created for her three daughters and three granddaughters. This was her legacy she left for her family to remember her by.
Donald Landon and Mary LaRae (Rogerson) Nielsen. She had been adopted at 5 days old and raised in Blackfoot, Idaho. Her biological parents were Alfreda Broncho Denny and Dwayne Boyer.
As an adopted child she was raised as an only child. In her biological family she was the last born and developed a relationship- adored and loved her older brothers Patrick, Anthony and Reid.
Dolly and had 8 children: Mark, Michael, Marita, Mitchell, Mason, Melina, Madalaine and Carlos.
Grandchildren: Raya, Antonio, Ava, Xavier, Julian, Trayson, Taliena and Tyson.
A avid and competitive tennis player for over 50 years. She played on numerous leagues for Women's doubles, mixed, tri-level and World Team tennis. At one point after semi-retiring she played on a 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 on team for an 18 & older, 40 & older, 55 & older and 60 & older. Tennis was her quiet place. Where all the "to do" lists, issues and other distractions were quiet.
