Diann R Overman, also known affectionately as Grandma Di, passed away on July 26, 2024, at the age of 83. She was born on March 19, 1941, in Gallup, NM. Diann dedicated her life to caring for children and was a beloved professional childcare provider in the Gallup community.

Diann's proudest accomplishment and contribution were raising her six children, who will forever cherish the love and guidance she provided. She was in a devoted relationship to Haven Tiley, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter.

Survived by her children, Tammy Overman, Christy Costley, Derek Overman, Bobby Overman, and Daron Overman. Grandchildren, Justin Torres, Ryan Overman, Stephen Overman, Sean Torres, Brooke Torres, Alexi Sanchèz and Darion Overman and 13 great grandchildren.

Diann leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She will be deeply missed by her siblings, Kelly Dansby and Debbie Schmaltz, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Diann's impact on the lives of others was immeasurable. She touched the hearts of many children in the community, and they remember her fondly as their Grandma Di. Her nurturing and caring nature extended beyond her own family, making a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Diann's favorite saying was, "I love you to the moon and back!" This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the depth of her love and the impact she had on those around her.

A celebration of Diann R Overman's life will be held on August 17, 2024 at The First Baptist Church in Gall, NM at 11:00 am. Reception to follow services.

May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
