Mom loved her home at Lime Lake. She kept the grounds impeccable with blooming flowers all spring and summer. She took pride in everything she did in life.
Diane Marie Quattrini, passed away surrounded by her children on June 7, 2024, at the age of 84. She was born on April 27, 1940, in Buffalo, NY, and was the beloved daughter of Daniel and Anna Margitich.
Diane was a loving mother and the proud matriarch of her family. She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Stephannie) Mogilski and Mark (Tammy) Mogilski, and two daughters, Maria Richardson and Marlene (Jay) Quattrini. Diane took great joy in her role as a grandmother and was blessed with twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will cherish memories of their time together.
Throughout her life, Diane made a lasting impact on those around her. As a Domestic Engineer, she took immense pride in her home at Lime Lake. Her impeccable gardening skills and blooming flowers brought joy to all who visited. Diane was known for throwing unforgettable parties, where she delighted guests with her exquisite homemade meals and refreshing drinks.
In her free time, Diane enjoyed pursuing her hobbies, which included gardening, bird watching, and passionately supporting the Buffalo Bills. She adored watching TV shows like Shark Tank, Bill Mahr, Dateline, Morning Joe, Homes funniest videos. and listening to the iconic sounds of ABBA.
Diane was a woman of strong character and compassion. She dedicated her time to various causes, including volunteering for the Leukemia Society, voting booths, and the Williamsville East High School Boosters Club. Her commitment to making a difference in the lives of others was truly inspiring.
Diane was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony James Quattrini, her sister, Sonia Baker (Lutchkoff), her brother, Jack Lutchkoff, and her parents, Daniel and Anna Margitich. She found immense happiness in her loving companion, Kenny Armstrong, who brought joy and companionship into her life for the last 30 plus years.
Diane Marie Quattrini will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warm heart, infectious laughter, beautiful “cat eyes” and zest for life will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
