Diana had a passion for writing and was the proud author of a published novel, "Hidden Tomorrows," which brought great joy to her children. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she cherished their presence above all else. Diana leaves behind her children Hope, Terry, William, Devon, Patricia, Grace, and Stephanie, along with her 27 adoring grandchildren.

Diana's life was marked by resilience and strength. She survived the devastating earthquake that struck Nicaragua in 1972, and her determination allowed her to provide a new life for five of her children in the United States. In December 1990, she was overjoyed to reunite with her two younger children and complete her family once again.

As an English teacher at the American Nicaraguan School in Managua, Diana made a lasting impact on her students' lives. Her energy, sense of humor, and radiant personality were defining traits that endeared her to everyone she encountered.
