She loved doing crafts with her granddaughter Ari. She loved taking her granddaughter and nephew Josh to Marine World.
She loved Gherkin sweet pickles, Orange Chicken, and AmyLynn's potato salad. Her favorite dessert, eclairs
DeeDee loved so many different types of music, but her favorite music was that of the 40s and 50s. Love, love, loved the oldies!
She ran Johnson's Baker in Fairfield California, till it closed in 92. She went in to work at Mare Island, managing the cafeteria and K4 warehouse. Always being in the food industry, she then worked for her remaining career, at Aramark, at the bishop ranch, pacBell/At&t. Over the various jobs she has had, she has met & made friends with some amazing people.
Her children and grandchildren
She never really stated so, but growing up, she has always taken us kids to Doran Beach in Bodega Bay. She would take her daughter, Alice Lee, to camp at Doran Beach; later she would take both her daughter and granddaughter Alice Lee & Ari
She loved scary movies and crime drama
She married in 1974, had 3 children. Amy Lynn Connelly (Caulfield), Coy Robert Caulfield, & Alice Lee Caulfield. She adored dotting after her grandchildren, Jerry Lee Hill-Caulfield III & Arielle Rosales Caulfield. She loved taking us kids to amusement parks; Disneylamd, knots berry farm, universal studios, Great America, Marine World. She also loved going thrift shopping, or driving up to Sacramento to the zoo, fairytale land or downtown Sac. She was always a strong woman and mother who loved fiercely. She beat breast cancer in 2014 and then fought a tough fight when diagnosed on March 1st, 2023, with brain cancer.

Diana Lynn Caulfield (Kemper), fondly known as DeeDee, passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 70. She was born on July 7, 1953, in Fairfield, CA, and most recently resided in Sacramento County, CA.
DeeDee was a loving mother and grandmother, finding immense joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. She especially cherished crafting with her granddaughter Ari and creating lasting memories by taking her granddaughter and nephew Josh to Marine World.
Having worked in the food industry throughout her career, DeeDee managed Johnson's Baker in Fairfield, CA, until its closure in 1992. She then joined Mare Island, managing the cafeteria and K4 warehouse. Her dedication to the food industry led her to Aramark, where she worked at Bishop Ranch, pacBell/At&t.
DeeDee had a wide range of interests and hobbies. She loved indulging in Gherkin sweet pickles, Orange Chicken, and AmyLynn's potato salad, with eclairs being her favorite dessert. She had a deep appreciation for music, particularly the hits of the 40s and 50s. Scary movies and crime dramas were her go-to TV shows.
One of DeeDee's favorite places was Doran Beach in Bodega Bay, where she often took her daughter Alice Lee for camping trips. DeeDee had a strong spirit, evident in her battle with and triumph over breast cancer in 2014. However, she faced another challenging fight when she was diagnosed with brain cancer on March 1, 2023.
DeeDee is survived by her children, Amy Lynn Connelly (Caulfield), Coy Robert Caulfield, and Alice Lee Caulfield, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Jerry Lee Hill-Caulfield III and Arielle Rosalee Caulfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dellwyn Leroy Kemper and Edith Gertrude Kemper (Legg), and siblings Leroy Kemper, Roberta Collaro (Kemper); is survived by her siblings, , Tommy Kemper, and Ger Wilson (Kemper), children & grandchildren.
DeeDee's legacy will be remembered by the amazing people she met and befriended over the course of her various professions. Her strength, love, and fierce devotion to her family will forever be cherished.
A celebration of DeeDee's life will take place at a later date to honor and remember the impact she had on the lives of those around her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to a cancer research organization in her memory.
May Diana Lynn Caulfield (Kemper) find eternal peace, surrounded by the love and memories she held dear throughout her life.
