Diana Davenport, born on January 17, 1945, in Mount Vernon, NY, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2024, at her home in the same city. A vibrant and loving soul, Diana was known for her passion for collecting Beanie Babies and her joyful spirit, which brought happiness to those around her.

Diana had a remarkable journey through life, marked by her appearance as a dancer on the famed Alan Freed show, showcasing her love for performance and the arts. After dedicating many years to public service, she retired from New York State in 2005, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and hard work.

Her greatest joys came from shopping and traveling, pursuits that allowed her to explore new places and create cherished memories. Diana was deeply involved in her community, serving on numerous ministries at Greater Centennial AME Zion Church, where she made lasting contributions and touched many lives.
