Celebrating the Life of Dexter "Papi" Cole

With quiet strength and boundless love, Dexter "Papi" Cole built a life centered around the people who meant the most to him—his family. A self-employed business owner, he took pride in his work, but his greatest accomplishment was the unwavering devotion he had for his loved ones.

Dexter’s presence was gentle yet profound. A beloved father, he touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his wife, Renee McIver-Cole. His children—Douglas, Dexter Jr., David, Joyce, and Denzel—were the foundation of his world. He is also survived by his dear mother, Ethlyn Cole Ricketts, who held a special place in his heart.

Anchored in his faith as a Seventh-day Adventist he was a honorable man. Dexter embraced the motto: "One Love." He lived with sincerity, kindness, and quiet dedication, leaving behind memories filled with warmth and wisdom. His legacy is not written in grand gestures, but in the deep love he shared and the lives he touched.

Though he has passed from this world, his presence remains—woven into the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him. Rest peacefully, Dexter. You are loved beyond measure.
