Devon Sims Or Crazy as he was affectionately known, was born to Lloyd Whitiker (January 31st, 1959 - August 24th, 2008) and Angela Walls on December 28th, 1993 in Chicago,IL.

Devon was loving, adventurous, and unpredictable child. He enjoyed music, video games, playing basketball ball, and spending time with his family. When Devon father Lloyd Whitiker passed away, he continued to be showered with love and support by his mother Angela Walls, the Walls & Whitiker family, and close friends. Devon attended church at a young age.

One of Devon’s main interest during his adolescence was music like his dad. He would write raps in his journal, and listen to a variety of rappers. While attending Paul Cuffe MST Academy, his passion for music & poetry continued to grow. He also met the mother of his first born child Lakia Williams while attending Paul Cuffe MST Academy. After graduating from Paul Cuffe MST Academy he subsequently attended Percy L Julian High School.

Devon had great loving spirit, he could make you laugh even when you didn’t want to. He was the life of the party, he always had a free spirit. Devon had a few hidden talents as well, fixing computers and phones with ease. One of his dreams was to open a bar. Devon is no longer with us in the physical but his spirit is still felt through his children and the memories he left us with. Devon leaves behind his children Lamont Sims, Jossiah Tompkins, Makai Dudley, and D’lani Sims. He leaves behind his siblings Lamar Whitiker, Marquan Beal (Brothers), and Diamond Harris (Sister).
