Devon’s passing came as a sudden and heartbreaking surprise. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Born on May 1st 1979, in Harlem NY, where he loved and remained, his entire life. Devon was a devoted father, a beloved family member, an amazing big brother and a friend to all who had the joy of knowing him. Devon’s greatest joy in life was his family, especially his children, whom he loved beyond words. Whether he was making them laugh with his quick wit or sharing life lessons with his gentle wisdom, his love for them was boundless and unwavering. His pride and his children was Unmistakable. He was a source of strength and support when it came to his babies. He will leave behind a legacy of love, laughter, loyalty and memories for each one of them to cherish. Devon truly adore his children and although he has gained is wings, your dad’s love remains in everything you do. Family gatherings were never dull with Devon around. He had a natural gift for bringing laughter and joy to every occasion, and he could always find a way to make those around him smile. His sense of humor and warmth created memories that will be treasured by all who knew him. ed Outside of family, Devon enjoyed riding bikes, motorcycles, four-wheelers and scooters. At a younger age Devon was seen in popping wheelies in his aunts wheelchair, which he’d later go on to do with motorcycles and four wheelers in countless video. He was definitely one of the best to do it in the streets of Harlem, his home town. Devon was always, unintentionally, the life of the party! Anyone who knew Devon knew his love and bond with his dogs was one built on boundless love and l deeds oyalty. Zay, Zina and Bang Bang 115 (inside joke) were not just pets but beloved family members, and companions through every season of life. They showed endless devotion, and he always made sure his dogs felt cherished, protected and loved. They were his solace. They kept him grounded and sane in the mist of insanity that this world could sometimes display. He cared for them with a steadfast, unbreakable devotion and they reciprocated the same loyalty and love right back to him. He is survived by his loving family, including his children Devin Madison, Te’von, Dahlyn Vernetta and Kamijah as well as his step son Eric. Amazing big brother to his younger siblings, Pop, Yvette, Yvonne, Mikey, Kristina, Katrina, Jimbo, David, Keith and Jermaine. His Aunts and Uncles, Pat, James, Richard and Arlene. His immediate cousins (bonus siblings) Lamont, Tamika, Tiesha, DJ and Steven. He w and a host of other family members and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will live on in the laughter, love, and warmth he brought to each of us. Devon is also survived by a few other beloved individuals, Aaron (AD), Baby Charles, Shakiema, Lenora Marie, Tiffany and Della.
