Derrick J. Weathers, Jr., lovingly known as D or Lil Daryl, passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 28. He was born on June 1, 1995, in Jamaica, Queens, NY, and had been residing in the same neighborhood until his passing.

Derrick was the beloved son of Alise Hazel, Derrick Weathers Sr., and stepmother Taine. He was a caring and devoted brother to Dannel and his sister-in-law Taninka, as well as his siblings Tykia, Erik, Kire, Elijah, and stepsister Malika. Family meant everything to Derrick, and he found immense joy in spending time with his loved ones.

Known for his cool, calm, and collected demeanor, Derrick made a lasting impact on those around him. He was a homecare provider for his mother, Alise, and took great pride in his role. His dedication and love were also evident in his most cherished accomplishment, the birth of his son Ethan.

In his free time, Derrick enjoyed watching nature shows on the Discovery Channel and indulging in his favorite foods, including his mother's baked ziti, Chinese cuisine, and pizza. His infectious smile and laughter will be remembered by all who knew him.

Derrick's memory will be forever treasured by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and remembered as a loving and devoted son, brother, and father. May he rest in peace, knowing the impact he had on the lives of those around him.
