Matthew 11:28: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
As a child, Dennis was interested in how things worked. He spent his younger days repairing bicycles and moved on to Automobiles as he got older. Even as a young person, he was knowledgeable about machinery.
Dennis attended high school in Inglewood and later studied at the Southern California Regional Center. While at S.C.R.O.C, he studied automobile body repair and automotive mechanics. In his adult years, he often used these skills to help his family and friends. He has always been helpful and friendly. He would always go out of his way to help if he was needed, especially if it had to do with car repair.
There is no doubt that he will be greatly missed because of his funny and loving personality.
As the song Paul Hardcastle sings says, " You may be gone, but you'll never be forgotten".
Remarks from the family
Halima Shelton says: " I will always remember your loving personality and how you would go out of your way on the Children's Birthdays to leave a funny voicemail of him rapping or joking around, it always made my night. Love your wife, Always and Forever".
Derrick says: " Dennis was a compassionate man and father who loves his wife and children with all that is in him. He made sure everyone around him was good and he was the best mechanic I know. I love you and miss you."
Jose (AKA Pollo) says: " Pops was always there for me and took me into his home like a son, I will always be grateful for him, You will be missed but remain in my heart."
We'll plant real trees for you in Dennis's memory and display your contribution forever.
