Denise Lori Ferguson

Denise Lori Ferguson, lovingly known as Nieci, passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 58. She was born on June 25, 1966, in Goshen, OH, to the late William (Bill) Runyon and Katherine Runyon (Mills). Denise had recently resided in Loveland, OH, where she enjoyed a vibrant and fulfilling life.

Denise had a zest for life and cherished spending time with her family above all else. She was a dedicated and loving mother to her children, Kelly Sievert and Jessica Benoit. Her pride and joy were her four precious grandchildren, Hailee, Madalynn, Jayce, and Josie. Denise attended their ball games and events with unwavering support and love.

In her free time, Denise had a variety of hobbies that brought her joy. She loved camping, cooking, spending time with friends, playing softball, and bowling. Denise's favorite foods were steak and potatoes, and she enjoyed listening to the music of Alan Jackson and Lainey Wilson.

Denise's favorite place in the world was Cape Coral, Florida, where she found peace and serenity. She found great enjoyment in watching TV shows like Survivor and Amazing Race, and she had a passion for sports, including softball, baseball, football, bowling, and auto racing.

Denise was married to Russell Ferguson, and together they shared a life filled with love and cherished memories. She was known affectionately as Nieci by her close family and friends.

Denise's strength and determination were evident in her quote, "Watch me go." She had accomplished many things in her life, but she was particularly proud of receiving a new liver, a victory that brought her renewed hope and gratitude.

Denise leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her siblings Jim and Karen Raines (Runyon), Dale Runyon, Mark and Sandy Runyon, Dennis Runyon, and Gary Runyon.

Denise had a heart for helping others and had recently become a member of the Loveland Eagles to continue her commitment to serving her community.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
