Dena M. Yax, affectionately known as Dee, passed away on October 3, 2024, at the age of 55. Born on February 7, 1969, Dena spent her final years in Slidell, Louisiana.

As a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Dee devoted her career to caring for others, making a positive impact on the lives of many. However, her proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. Dena's legacy lives on through her beloved family, including her children Darra Wallace, Ashlee McNab, and Anthony Yax, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Hope Yax, Trenton McNab, McKenzee McNab, Forest Yax, Summer Yax, Blake Wallace, and Callie Wallace.

Dena was known for her bright personality, which brought warmth and joy to those around her. She will be remembered not only for her professional achievements but also for the love and care she showed to her family and friends. Her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
