Delores Marie Lutz McKendree (Hatler) was born October 7, 1947 in Evansville Indiana and entered her rest May 19, 2025 in Killen Alabama.She lived her life moving around as the wife of a traveling minister until 1979. She married Eddie R McKendree in 1966 and went on to have three children, six grandchildren, four great-grand children many many nieces and nephews and extended bonus children.

She loved to go to church and read her Bible and she loved listening to Old Time gospel music The Rambos, The Goodmans, The Gathers and many many more.

She is preceded in death by her ex husband Eddie McKendree, parents Frank Hatler, Vernon Lutz and Herbert Wilkey and by her mother Margaret Robinson Wilkey, brother John Lutz Sr., sister Tina Lutz Gadberry, brother Michael Lutz Sr, grandson Skylar Newton and a nephew Kevin Lutz and a great nephew.

She is survived by daughter Shirley McKendree , son Allen Palmer (Scott) and daughter LaVona McKendree, grand sons Zachary McKendree, Noah Scott, Matthew McKendree, Lucas Irby and Jaxon McKendree. Great grandsons Izeya McKendree, Aiden Scott and great grand daughters Aubrey Newton and Izabel McKendree. Also survived by brother Roger Lutz (Susie) and Perry Lutz (Cheryl). Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes there will be no service and a Celebration of life for family date TBD.
